WHY HUNT NAMIBIA?
Space, variety and a hunting experience with its own character.
Namibia is not simply another place to hunt African game. Its landscapes, low population density and vast hunting areas give a safari here a very distinctive atmosphere.
EXTRAORDINARY LANDSCAPES
Namibia offers remarkable contrasts.
Depending on the hunting area, you can experience dry savannah, mountains, bush, semi-desert landscapes and the red sands of the Kalahari.
The landscape becomes part of the hunting experience.
CLASSIC PLAINS GAME
Namibia is an outstanding destination for plains-game hunting.
Species such as gemsbok, kudu, springbok, hartebeest, eland, wildebeest, warthog, zebra and many others can be hunted depending on the particular area.
DIFFERENT HUNTING AREAS
We are not limited to one hunting property.
Depending on the species you are looking for, your trophy expectations and current availability, we can discuss different hunting areas and programmes with our local partners.
FROM PLAINS GAME TO SPECIALISED HUNTS
Namibia offers much more than a classic plains-game safari.
Through suitable partners and hunting areas, specialised hunting opportunities can also be arranged, including hunts in the north-east of Namibia and the wider Zambezi/Caprivi region, subject to quotas, permits and current availability.
Tell us the species first. We will help you find the right part of Namibia to hunt it.
WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO HUNT?
From classic Namibian plains game to specialised hunting adventures.
Namibia offers far more hunting variety than many first-time visitors expect.
Depending on the species, hunting area and type of safari you are looking for, we can arrange anything from a classic plains-game hunt in the dry Namibian landscape to specialised hunting opportunities in the north-east of the country.
Tell us which animals are your priorities. We will help you choose the right hunting area and programme.

CLASSIC NAMIBIAN PLAINS GAME
For many hunters, this is Namibia at its best.
The open landscapes and dry conditions create excellent opportunities for traditional spot-and-stalk and walk-and-stalk hunting.
Depending on the hunting area, species may include:
Gemsbok / Oryx · Greater Kudu · Springbok · Hartmann's Mountain Zebra · Burchell's Zebra · Red Hartebeest · Blue Wildebeest · Eland · Warthog and many more.
A safari can be built around several priority species, with additional opportunities considered during the hunt.

PREMIUM & SPECIAL SPECIES
Already hunted the classic African plains game?
Namibia can also offer opportunities for hunters looking for particular species or a more specialised trophy hunt.
Tell us what is still missing from your African hunting experience and we will check the suitable opportunities with our partners.

ZAMBEZI / CAPRIVI
A completely different side of Namibia.
The north-eastern Zambezi Region, still widely known among hunters as the Caprivi, is very different from the dry landscapes associated with most of Namibia.
Rivers, floodplains, woodland and dense bush create a completely different ecosystem and hunting experience.
Depending on quotas, permits and current availability, the region offers specialised hunting opportunities including dangerous game and other species associated with this unique part of southern Africa.
For hunters looking for this type of safari, we can check current opportunities through our network and prepare the hunt individually.
LOOKING FOR SOMETHING SPECIFIC?
Don't worry if the animal you are looking for isn't listed above.
Our website is not intended to be a catalogue of every species we can arrange.
Tell us the species, trophy expectations and type of experience you are looking for. We will check the possibilities with our partners.
HOW WOULD YOU LIKE TO HUNT?
Different terrain. Different species. Different ways to hunt.
The hunting method depends on the species, terrain, hunting area and your personal preferences.
WALK & STALK
For many hunters, this is Africa at its best.
Hunt on foot with your Professional Hunter, locate the game and carefully stalk into a suitable shooting position.
SPOT & STALK
In open or mountainous terrain, glassing from a suitable vantage point can be used to locate game before planning the stalk.
RIFLE & BIG BORE
From traditional plains-game rifles to big-bore rifles for dangerous game, the appropriate equipment depends on the species you are hunting.
You can bring your own rifle or, if you prefer to travel without one, firearm rental can be arranged.
BOW AND CROSSBOW HUNTING
Bow and crossbow hunting can also be arranged in suitable hunting areas, either through stalking or hunting from strategically positioned blinds.
Tell us how you like to hunt – or let your Professional Hunter choose the method that best suits the species and conditions.
YOUR NAMIBIA. YOUR SAFARI.
We build the hunt around your priorities.
There is no reason why every hunter should travel to Namibia with the same list of animals and the same programme.
1. START WITH YOUR PRIORITY SPECIES
Tell us which animals are most important to you.
This gives us the starting point for selecting the right hunting area and realistic length of your safari.
2. CHOOSE THE RIGHT AREA
A hunter looking for classic plains game may need a completely different location from someone looking for a specialised species or a Zambezi/Caprivi hunting experience.
We will discuss the possibilities with our partners and recommend the option that best matches your priorities.
3. BUILD A CLEAR PACKAGE
Once the hunting area and programme are selected, we will prepare a clear offer showing the hunting days, agreed species or trophy fees, accommodation, hunting services, transfers and other services included.
4. LEAVE ROOM FOR AFRICA
You don't necessarily need to decide on every animal before you arrive.
Depending on the hunting area and availability, additional hunting opportunities may arise during your safari.
Plan the important things. Leave some room for the unexpected.
EVERYTHING ARRANGED
You come to hunt. We take care of the details.
We prefer to prepare our Namibian hunting safaris so that the essential services are already included in your programme.
Depending on the particular safari, your package will normally include:
Accommodation · Meals · Non-alcoholic drinks · Local alcoholic drinks · Professional hunting services · Trackers and hunting staff · Transportation during the safari · Agreed transfers
Before you confirm your hunt, you will receive a clear offer showing exactly what is included and what, if anything, is paid separately.
WHAT MAY BE EXTRA?
Depending on the particular safari, additional costs may include:
Additional animals · Gratuities · Rifle rental and ammunition · Taxidermy and trophy shipping · Flights · Special permits or services required for particular hunts
For specialised hunts, including hunts in the Zambezi/Caprivi region, the conditions may differ from a standard plains-game safari. These will always be explained in your individual offer.
No complicated price list to figure out. You will know the conditions of your safari before you travel.
GOOD TO KNOW
WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO HUNT IN NAMIBIA?
The ideal period depends on the species, hunting area and type of safari you are planning.
Tell us which animals are your priorities and we will recommend suitable dates based on the particular hunting opportunity.
HOW MANY HUNTING DAYS SHOULD I PLAN?
This depends mainly on your species list and the hunting area.
A safari focused on several plains-game species will require a different programme from a hunt for one particular species or a specialised Zambezi/Caprivi safari.
We will recommend a realistic number of hunting days when preparing your programme.
CAN I BRING MY OWN RIFLE?
Yes.
You can travel to Namibia with your own hunting rifle, subject to the applicable firearm import requirements.
We will provide information about the necessary arrangements before your trip.
If you prefer not to travel with a firearm, rifle rental can be arranged.
WHAT HAPPENS TO MY TROPHIES?
After the hunt, your trophies can be prepared for further processing and export.
We can assist with the organisation of trophy preparation, taxidermy and shipping according to your requirements.
CAN I ADD ANOTHER SPECIES DURING THE SAFARI?
Depending on the hunting area and availability, often yes.
If an additional opportunity arises during the hunt, you can discuss the species, trophy fee and conditions with your Professional Hunter before making a decision.
IS ZAMBEZI / CAPRIVI THE SAME TYPE OF SAFARI AS THE REST OF NAMIBIA?
No – and that is part of what makes it so interesting.
The north-east of Namibia has a very different landscape, ecosystem and hunting character from the dry central and southern parts of the country.
Specialised hunts in this region are therefore planned individually according to the species, quota, hunting area and current availability.
CAN A NON-HUNTING COMPANION COME WITH ME?
Yes.
A non-hunting companion can join your trip. Depending on the hunting area and programme, additional activities can also be discussed.
If you would like to combine the hunt with travelling through Namibia before or afterwards, tell us when planning your safari.
