DRIVEN HUNTS IN THE CZECH REPUBLIC
Traditional European hunting. Shared with friends.
A driven hunt is about much more than the number of animals taken. It is the atmosphere, hunting tradition, organisation and the experience shared with a group of friends.
Through FFhunting, we can arrange driven hunts in selected hunting areas in the Czech Republic for private groups of hunters.
Depending on the hunting area, hunts may include wild boar and various species of deer and other game in accordance with local hunting conditions and regulations.
We focus on hunting areas where we have confidence in the game population, organisation and the people responsible for the hunt.
Tell us the size of your group, your preferred dates and what you expect from the hunt. We will check suitable opportunities and recommend the right option.
Private groups · Selected hunting areas · Complete organisation · Tailor-made programmes
Different groups. Different expectations. Different hunts.
There is no single driven hunt that is right for every group.
Some hunters are looking for an intensive hunting experience with a strong focus on the game bag. Others value tradition, atmosphere and spending a few great days hunting with friends just as much as the result itself.
Through our network, we can look for the hunting area and programme that best matches your group.
YOUR GROUP
Tell us how many hunters are travelling and whether you are a private group, hunting club or a group of friends.
The size of the group is one of the key factors when selecting the right hunting area.
YOUR EXPECTATIONS
What matters most to your group?
A strong hunting result? Wild boar? Mixed game? Traditional atmosphere? Comfortable accommodation? Or a combination of everything?
The more we know, the better we can match the hunt to your expectations.
YOUR BUDGET
Driven hunts in the Czech Republic vary considerably in price depending on the hunting area, number of hunters, game included, accommodation and other services.
Tell us your approximate budget and we will focus on realistic options.
YOUR DATES
The best driven hunts often have limited availability and many dates are reserved well in advance.
If your dates are flexible, we may be able to offer more options. From time to time, last-minute or cancelled hunting dates may also become available.
Tell us about your group and what you expect from the hunt. We will look for the right opportunity rather than simply offering you the first available date.
WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT?
More than a day of hunting.
A traditional Czech driven hunt combines hunting, organisation, friendship and hunting traditions.
The exact programme depends on the hunting area, but a typical hunting day may include several drives, experienced beaters and dog handlers, breaks between drives and a traditional conclusion to the hunting day.

MORNING BRIEFING
The day begins with the gathering of hunters, introduction to the hunting area and a safety briefing.
Hunters receive information about the organisation of the day, game that may be hunted and the rules for each drive.

THE DRIVES
Hunters are taken to their positions and several drives are normally organised during the day.
Beaters and hunting dogs move through the hunting area, while experienced local staff coordinate the hunt and transportation between drives.

THE HUNTING TRADITION
Czech hunting has a long history and many hunting areas still maintain traditional customs surrounding the hunt.
The atmosphere, respect for the game and time spent with fellow hunters are an important part of the experience.

AFTER THE HUNT
The hunting day traditionally concludes with the presentation of the game bag and respect paid to the game taken during the hunt.
Depending on the programme, the evening can continue over dinner and drinks – a chance to relax, share stories and enjoy the company of the group.
GAME & HUNTING RESULTS
Every driven hunt is different.
Depending on the hunting area, driven hunts in the Czech Republic may focus primarily on wild boar or offer a mixed bag including different species of deer and other game permitted under the conditions of the particular hunt.
When selecting a hunt for your group, we look not only at the price and available dates, but also at the game population, previous hunting results and the organisation of the hunting area.
WILD BOAR
Wild boar is one of the main species on many Czech driven hunts and for some groups it can be the primary focus of the hunt.
MIXED GAME
Depending on the hunting area and current hunting regulations, the hunt may also include selected categories of red deer, Sika deer, fallow deer, mouflon or roe deer.
The exact species and categories permitted will always be clearly explained before the hunt.
EXPECTED RESULT
No responsible outfitter can guarantee the final game bag of a driven hunt.
Weather, movement of the game, shooting performance and many other factors can influence the result.
What we can do is help you choose a hunting area based on realistic information – including previous results, current game populations and what we know about the organisation of the hunt.
FROM TRADITIONAL HUNTS TO HIGH-VOLUME OPPORTUNITIES
Different groups are looking for different experiences.
Some hunting areas offer smaller, traditional driven hunts, while selected locations can provide opportunities for groups looking for significantly higher game numbers.
Tell us what your group considers a successful hunt. We will focus on opportunities that realistically match those expectations.
WE TAKE CARE OF YOUR GROUP
You bring the hunters. We take care of the details.
Organising a driven hunt for a group can involve much more than simply booking the hunting days.
FFhunting can coordinate the complete programme in the Czech Republic, giving your group one point of contact for the hunt and the services around it.

Tell us about your group, expectations and budget. We will check suitable driven hunts within our network and recommend the opportunities that best match what you are looking for.
Your enquiry doesn't commit you to anything. We will contact you personally, discuss your group's expectations and check suitable driven-hunt opportunities.
