WHERE WOULD YOU LIKE TO HUNT?

Two countries. Very different African experiences.

SOUTH AFRICA

From the bushveld and open plains to mountain hunting, South Africa offers an extraordinary variety of landscapes, game species and hunting experiences.

It is an excellent choice for a first African safari, experienced trophy hunters and hunters travelling with their partner or family.

NAMIBIA

Wide open spaces, mountains, bush and the red dunes of the Kalahari make Namibia one of Africa's most distinctive hunting destinations.

Combine a hunting safari with the experience of travelling through one of the least densely populated and most spectacular countries in Africa.

BOTSWANA · ZIMBABWE · TANZANIA · and more

Specialised hunting opportunities, including dangerous game, are available through our network according to current quotas and availability.

YOUR FIRST AFRICAN SAFARI?

Africa may look complicated. It doesn't have to be.

For many European hunters, the first African safari raises a lot of questions.

Which country should I choose? Which species should I hunt? How many hunting days do I need? What will the safari really cost? And how do I know that the outfitter I choose can be trusted?

This is exactly where FFhunting can help.

CHOOSE THE RIGHT DESTINATION

South Africa and Namibia offer different landscapes, hunting conditions and opportunities.

Tell us what species you are interested in, your expectations and your approximate budget. We will help you choose the destination and hunting area that makes the most sense for you.

BUILD YOUR SPECIES LIST

You don't need to decide everything before contacting us.

Tell us which species are most important to you and we can help you build a realistic hunting programme around them.

Depending on the safari and what happens during the hunt, additional hunting opportunities may also become available.

HUNT WITH PEOPLE WE TRUST

Perhaps the most important part of an African safari is choosing the right outfitter and professional hunter.

We prefer to send our hunters to people and hunting operations we know and trust rather than simply choosing the cheapest offer available.

ONE CLEAR HUNTING PACKAGE

We prefer to keep African safari pricing simple and transparent.

Our hunting packages are normally prepared to include the essential services you will need during your safari – accommodation, meals, non-alcoholic drinks, local alcoholic drinks, hunting and guiding services, local transportation and the agreed transfers.

The aim is simple: once you arrive, you should be able to concentrate on hunting and enjoying your safari rather than thinking about additional charges every day.

Apart from any additional animals you decide to hunt, the main extras are normally tips for trackers and staff and firearm rental if required.

Before you book, you will receive a clear offer showing exactly what is included and any costs that are not.

Arrive. Hunt. Enjoy Africa. We take care of the rest.

WHAT CAN YOU HUNT IN AFRICA?

From plains game to Africa's most iconic dangerous game.

Africa offers an extraordinary variety of hunting opportunities – from a classic first plains-game safari to specialised hunts for some of the continent's most challenging and sought-after species.

Through our trusted partners and their network of hunting concessions, we can arrange hunts in South Africa, Namibia and selected destinations across Southern and Eastern Africa, depending on the species, season and current availability.

You don't need to choose the hunting area yourself. Tell us what you would like to hunt and we will look for the right destination, concession and professional hunting team.

PLAINS GAME

For many hunters, plains game is the perfect introduction to Africa.

Depending on the destination and hunting area, opportunities include kudu, gemsbok/oryx, eland, wildebeest, impala, springbok, waterbuck, zebra, warthog and many other species.

A safari can be built around a few priority animals rather than a fixed list. Tell us which species matter most to you and we will help you create a hunting programme around them.

DANGEROUS GAME

For experienced hunters looking for a completely different challenge, we can arrange specialised dangerous-game safaris through trusted professional hunters and hunting operators.

Depending on the destination, permits and current availability, opportunities can include Cape buffalo, lion, leopard, elephant and rhinoceros.

These hunts require experienced professional hunters, suitable hunting areas and careful planning. We will help coordinate the right destination and hunting operation for the particular species.

ELEPHANT & SPECIALISED AFRICAN HUNTS

Some species require looking beyond the traditional South African safari.

Through our network, we can also check opportunities in destinations such as Namibia's Caprivi region, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Tanzania and other selected African hunting areas.

These hunts are always prepared individually according to the species, current quotas and availability.

NIGHT & PREDATOR HUNTING

Africa doesn't stop hunting when the sun goes down.

Selected destinations offer exciting night-hunting opportunities for nocturnal species and predators, including species such as bushpig and jackal, depending on the hunting area.

Night hunting can be included as part of a broader safari or become one of the specialised experiences of your trip.

SOMETHING SPECIFIC?

Africa offers far more species and hunting possibilities than we could reasonably list here.

If you are looking for a particular African species, trophy quality or type of hunt, ask us.

We will check the possibilities through our network rather than limiting your choice to the animals shown on this website.

From your first impala to a specialised dangerous-game safari – tell us what you want to hunt and we will look for the right opportunity.

MORE THAN THE HUNT

Make the most of your time in Africa.

Your hunting safari is the main reason for the journey – but it doesn't have to be the only experience.

Depending on the destination, hunting area and length of your stay, we can help you add selected activities before, during or after your hunting programme.

PHOTOGRAPHIC SAFARI

Would you like to see more of Africa's wildlife without a rifle?

A photographic safari or a visit to one of Africa's famous national parks and wildlife reserves can be added before or after your hunt.

FISHING

Depending on the location and season, fishing can be added to a hunting safari or incorporated into a longer African programme through our local contacts.

Depending on the location and season, this can be added to a hunting safari or arranged as a separate fishing experience through our local contacts.

NON-HUNTING COMPANIONS

Your partner doesn't hunt? That doesn't mean they have to stay at home.

Depending on the hunting area, non-hunting companions can join the safari and we can discuss suitable activities or additional programmes for them.

EXTEND YOUR AFRICAN ADVENTURE

If you have already travelled all the way to Africa, you may want to stay a little longer.

Tell us what interests you and we can help combine your hunting safari with selected additional experiences.

Hunt first. Discover more if you want to.
